A big thank you

Thanks to everyone who has stopped by, peeked, viewed, liked, followed, and commented. Recently, I have been forced to re-budget my time and I won’t be blogging too much anymore. For that reason I’m just going to be blogging on my Goodreads page, and only sporadically for now.

While that blog isn’t overly flashy, it does serve its purpose quite well. The good news is that I have made sure to set aside time to write a little more. A Night in Hartford should be completed over the next or two.

…I lay no claim to possession of any deep philosophical verities…but I wanna have yeez indulge me for a couple of minutes in this post…y’see, I’m reading a lot lately on Blogs, and Facebook, and Twitter…the usual suspects…I think maybe it’s something to do with the time of year… lots of new indie authors are bringing their first-born masterpieces on to Kindle…and like most of us when freshly here, hoping, praying, p’raps foolishly even EXPECTING, to ramp up tons and tons of downloads, paid or freebies…well, Truth is, it really seldom works like that, eh, Mabel?…the buzz phrase of the decade is ‘building the platform’…getting a base of PALS on here…that doesn’t mean smacking them in the teeth every ten minutes with pleas to buy yer  babies…au contraire…it’s attraction rather than subversion that works much  better…believe me, I type from experience…Kindle has been more than generous to this ol’…

Today,  The Bureau introduces Intel on a few races, ones who have rallied together to uphold what is right, and true.

The Yomghua-

The Yomghua are a race with limited mobility. They pose no physical threat on the battlefront. The yellow, stalk-like, aliens possesses two, wide, feet at their base, each with four, short, stocky, toes. They have no visible legs, and walk by slowly moving their long torso forward then inching their feet along the way.

A blue, round head grows from the top of their bodies. Several eyes are designed to look around independently. With two tentacles ending in four fingers, they furiously work on their computers.

The Yomghua reside on planet Kaglar, one of two planets harboring intelligent life, in the Yeslleck system.
